Sometimes a nap really hits the spot...

Miss Lucy hopes all you bloggers out there, especially those suffering during this nasty flu season, will follow her example and just TAKE A NAP. You don't necessarily have to sleep on the keyboard and mouse-pad, but a little extra rest during this transition between seasons is good for your immune system. Burning the candle at both ends WILL backfire!

*sigh* If only we could all rest as blissfully unaware as Miss Lucy. She had her "big operation" last week, and by the following morning she was back to chasing her big brother Kramer around the house.

Keeping an eye on the competition. Sharing the basement
window and dreaming of catching birds!

    1. Lucy is very soft and warm... can't wait to cuddle when the colder weather arrives. Maybe save a little on the heating bill LOL

  3. Such sweeties! My Hope's favorite place is practically on the chair rungs so I can't move away.

  4. Hi Monique,
These two look so sweet, but I bet they are just as mischievous as most cats.

  5. Oh my sweetest sweeties! Napping is definately a good thin. My teo are obviously indoor kitties since they nap like the dead. One always with his head flipped upside down and the other in almost every position imaginable. I especially love when she's on her back all limbs splayed and completely dead to the world.

  6. To live the life of beloved kitty, oh what a perfect life that would be. :)
Miss Lucy is one pretty feline lady and her brother, Kramer, is one handsome dude. And I think they're very aware of that. :D

    1. Yes, Anna Maria, I don't think cats suffer any self-esteem issues LOL. Too bad their humans couldn't have as much confidence!

  8. I think I'm going to take their advice and sneak a little tiny nap right now. =)
Both my girls are home from school sick, and I'm catching what they've got. They're watching a movie at this minute, and I bet I can get about 20 minutes in...

    1. Sorry to hear everyone is under the weather, Becca. Hopefully the girls will get their "quota" of bugs early on and get it over with, before the Alaska winter grabs hold. Lots of rest will help fight the virus, and soothing drinks will keep everyone hydrated!

I love your comments and read each one! I am happy to reply to anyone who has an email attached to their profile, and I love doing just that (plus I was brought up to say "thanks" LOL). I don't usually reply here on the blog, but I will if you are a "no-reply blogger" with a question. Know that I appreciate EVERYONE who takes time to drop me a line!
