CC7A July Reveal

Welcome to the final month of our Creative Continuum of Seven Artists design challenge. For the past seven months, our little group has used beads and components sent by other members to inspire our creativity. July's awesome kit was provided by Emma of A Polymer Penchant. You can see what she sent here.

I added a few extra components to create this bracelet and earrings (my first earrings since finishing the 100 Days 100 Pairs Challenge... CAN YOU SAY BURNOUT?)  I chose some assorted pink lampwork and magenta carved bone beads, both from Yukidesigns, and coordinated 12mm shell pearls from Lima Beads.

Here are the bracelet and earrings I created with Emma's kit:

Thanks for visiting today, and thank you to Emma for the inspiration this month, and to Alicia for putting us all together in this fun group. I'm sad it's over :(

Here are the rest of our members. Some are on holiday and may post a little later :)

  2. Beautiful bracelet and earrings Monique! I am sad it is all over too, it has been a blast working with all the cool and different components these past 7 months. I will be posting when I get home from work, cause it slipped my mind to do it yesterday, I will blame it on old age. LOL

  3. I LOVE those earrings! I like how you took components that are whimsical/silly and created earrings that are whimsical/elegant :-) Love the bracelet too, and how those components all work together.

  5. Very pretty! I love the purple earrings! And the pink in the pendant really stands outs with the rest of the beads. Great Job!

  6. Hi Monique, I like both of your designs. Those earrings are so cute and they really are striking. I guess you saved up your earring mojo until you could make something spectacular.

  14. So fun to see what everyone's created with pinks this time! Personally, I find it a difficult color to design with, but, Oh, now I'm inspired! Love those little "spokes" thingies in your designs...creates a real element of fun.

  20. Thanks for the visit and lovely comment you left on my blog! My you have been a busy girl! What delightful creations. Is it just me or do the purple components to the earrings remind you of Jacks....Very cool regardless if they do or if they don't. Have a great day!

  21. Love, love, love how you used those challenging little Trixies. They made an amazing pair of earrings - totally fabulous !
And Terri is right, they do look like "jacks", which gives them and the jewelry they're in, a very fun and playful look. Love it. :)
