A Violin Made Of WHAT??

Thought everyone might enjoy this short video featuring a violin MADE OF BURLAP, by self-taught inventors Christos and Areti, who create all sorts of amazing eco-instruments in their studios in Komotini, in the northeastern part of Greece. See lots more on their website ArtEcoArt

I'm no expert, but this sounds pretty amazing to me!

Have a great week everyone!

  4. I've always loved instruments, cameras etc that are self-made (and working properly). It's a remarkable talent to be able to do this.

  6. I've no idea how he managed to fabricate a violin from burlap but his skill as a musician is outstanding.

Wonder if he used some type of resin to stiffen and shape the burlap with?
