So you all know I can't resist sharing whenever I come across a generous artisan willing to GIVE her work to a blog reader. Ontario's Deborah Read is a designer and teacher who has been published in "Glass Craftsman" and "Lapidary Journal", among others. She specializes in (but is in no way limited to) metal etching and various glass processes.
Deborah is offering this lovely copper bracelet made using her own Zentangle-inspired stamps:
To enter this give-away, to be drawn March 1st, 2013, go to Deborah's blog post and leave a comment. She is a participant in the 7th Bead Soup Blog Party, paired with the U.K. designer Jo Tinley of Daisychain Designs. I am anxious for April 6th to see what Deb and Jo create with the marvelous components they have exchanged.
Deb has a shop on Etsy where, in addition to jewellery, she offers her rubber stamp designs, as well as printed resist sheets for doing your own metal etching.
Wow how beautiful! Must go check that out
